Meningococcal Vaccine Awareness Campaign
Meningococcal cases in Western Australia are increasing. The W strain of the bacteria can no longer be treated with antibiotics and the only way to protect oneself is through building you natural immunity through vaccination. Whilst the vaccination is available free for children aged between 1-4yrs old as well as 14-19yrs old, adult vaccinations are a small price to pay to ensure you are protected. We are encouraging members of all Rotary Clubs to have the conversation about vaccinating for this terrible disease with at least 10 of their friends and challenge them to get immunised.
Will you be a part of our movement! Have a conversation and help eradicate this disease. |

Australia Day Big Breakfast
In conjunction with the City of Gosnells the Rotary Club organises the Australia Day Breakfast to assist in the local celebrations. It is a big effort usually cooking 800-1000 cooked breakfasts each Australia Day. We are always looking for volunteers to help with this event so if you would like to donate your time and man power please contact us.

ANZAC Day Breakfast
Every ANZAC Day the Rotary Club of Gosnells supports the local RSL to provide breakfast for the local Gosnells community after the dawn service held at Centennial Pioneer Park each year. This community event fills us with pride every year as the crowds of people descend on the War Memorial to commemorate all the fallen soldiers and those who are fighting today.

Amanda's Garden Fete
The Rotary Club of Gosnells has been working with the Amanda Young Foundation over a number of years. Every year, Barry and Lorraine Young open up their garden and host a wonderful garden fete. There are a variety of arts and crafts, plant sales and if your peckish we can tempt you with a Devonshire tea or sausage sizzle. The Rotary Club has assisted with the running of the sausage sizzle with all profits going to the Amanda Young Foundation.
